Learn about China’s successful mission to the moon. The Chinese are the third nation to land a probe on the moon, and the first to land on the far side of our nearest celestial neighbor.

The mission comprises a lander and a rover (called the Jade Rabbit), equipped with the ability to move about the surface, take photographs, and perform geological and biological experiments.
